I've been using the ZIIP for a while now and I wanted to share how I use this as an anti-aging tool. I don't have botox or fillers and I use this as a bit of a facelift. An unintended benefit is the calm and sense of relaxation that it gives when I use it.

I’m not usually keen on electric skincare because the idea of having to ‘do too much’ turns me off. Ok, yes, I’m kind of lazy when it comes to skincare and my eczema-prone skin does not like too much drama. When I started using this, I was low-key annoyed that I kept myself back from trying it for so long.

The ZIIP is a nano current skincare device that delivers nano-sized electrical currents deep into your skin that kills bacteria and promotes younger-looking skin. It’s used to

  • Heal tissue

  • Accelerate wound healing

  • Decrease acne

  • Increase circulation, and

  • Stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

The ZIIP has a corresponding app that syncs with your phone. There are 8 treatments with options to combine and customize your own variations depending on what you are trying to target. Most days I use the energize treatment. To find the treatment that’s right for you, you can use the accompanying manual that comes in the box, or you can use the app. The app is super responsive and easy to use. It gives step-by-step videos that you can pause and catch up at any time. The app syncs with the device. You will know when its on due to a series of beeps, vibration and lights. ( Bells and whistles, you can’t miss it.)

Ziip Device

Before applying the device, I prepped my skin using the golden gel which comes with the ZIIP. There are 3 types of gel which all act as a conduit. There offer different added benefits and are all free of silicones, parabens, and oils. There is the Beauty Silver Conductive Gel, the Crystal Conductive Gel, and the Golden Conductive Gel. I currently use the Golden gel as it seems to offer the most benefits out of the three.

I apply a generous amount golden gel. I use about 9 pumps to make sure the gel can act as a conduit for the current to penetrate my skin before applying the device. The different treatments on the ZIIP can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 12 minutes. The Sensitive Energize treatment is my favorite. It is used for toning, glowing, and contouring, and considering I usually wake up quite puffy. All the treatments are temporary, lasting results happen with continuous use. To see a mini demo of how I use this, check out the video below.
